Toddler 'Push & Pull' toy
With the feedback of the first design project, our next task was
to develop a 'Push & Pull' toy meant for toddlers. Including a working mechanism.
This meant we had to do research regarding the NEN standars for toddlers and
analyse and test different mechanisms. When this was finished we had a uncomplicated
and cheap mechanism combinated with a theme, 'Gnome Playground'.
This semester was primarily meant for analysing, exploring mechanisms and
making a injection moldable product so the overprint and details of the figures
weren't important.
Side note: Unfortunately my team/classmate ended his studie so I had to work on the
project alone. The teacher and I decided that I would work out one of the mechanisms.
