Product to CAD model
I teamed up with Goedmeubel (Eng: Good Furniture) to process their existing
furniture to 3D CAD models and renders.
After giving them information about what is possible with CAD software, the dimensions digital, making
custom technical drawings etc. we came to the agreement with which I had the privilege
to make CAD models of their furniture.
While still work in progress the product below is the first task I was given. I took the chance
to do this because it gives a great inside in how to act in a professional scene and what problems you
have to cope with.
For this model one of the things I had to correct was for example the direction of the grain. With
the SolidWorks custom texture options I corrected this, so the model is even more realistic.
